When to go to A&E

If you have experienced

  • A fall

  • A road traffic accident

  • Poisoning

  • Acute chest pain

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Symptoms of a stroke,

  • please call 999 or go directly to your nearest Accident & Emergency department, as they have the resources to treat urgent medical conditions immediately.

These can be booked through the surgery or you can call on the day (Limited appointments) - This is not a walk in service (Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 15:00pm)

Letters can take up to 7 working days to be added to your medical record, reviewed by a GP, and any necessary actions taken.

During busy periods, this process may take longer. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

If your matter is urgent, please speak to a member of the reception team.
